What is the AVMF Charity Fund?
The Veterinary Care Charitable Fund® is a program created by the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) to provide veterinarians with a simple and effective way to offer charitable veterinary services to clients facing personal hardships as well as a means to support animals rescued from abuse and neglect. Enrolled veterinary hospitals now have a way to offer low or no-cost services to clients who may otherwise be forced to surrender or euthanize their beloved pets.
Charitable care may be provided to those in need including*:
• Disabled veterans requiring a service dog
• Low Income senior citizens
• Good Samaritans who rescue domesticated animals
• Victims of domestic violence .
*Charity care cannot be used for routine care and is subject to approval.

We are still offering curbside service, if desired. You are also welcome to accompany your pet into the clinic, provided all humans are wearing a mask or similar face covering.
We are taking extra steps to assure the safety of our clients and our staff. We are doing everything we can to be sure we will be available to treat your sick or injured pet. If your pet needs care, but you or a family member have flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, sneezing), please call the clinic so we can advise on the best way for your pet to be seen.
