Dr. Brenda Evans received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 2002. Dr. Evans has been practicing in the area since 2004, and opened Evans Family Pet Care in December of 2009. Her specific areas of interest include preventative and wellness care for family pets. Dr. Evans lives on a farm near Lynd with her husband Matt (who is also a veterinarian), their children Mallory and Axel, along with Teagun her dog. In her spare time she enjoys reading, crafts, and spending time with her family.

Rochelle Stark, Veterinary Assistant

Rochelle grew up in a suburb of Vancouver, BC, Canada and trained as a (human) medical doctor. She became ill with chronic Lyme Disease and left her medical practice in 2015 to focus on her own recovery and wellness. In 2017 she was recovered enough to work part time and she began by dipping her toes into the world of veterinary medicine. She shares her home with her multiple rescued fur-babies: Miss Yoda (pug mix), Yogi Bear (terrier mix), and 4 crazy cats: Titan, Tatiana, Flander, and Finley.

Oakleigh Edeburn, Veterinary Assistant

Oakleigh is a 2012 Marshall high school graduate returning from Montana after working on a AQHA equine breeding facility as a vet assistant and ranch hand for over five years. She is excitedly working on earning her degree and becoming a certified veterinary technician. She enjoys the outdoors, travel, and creating hand-made jewelry from horsehair. Her fur and feathered friends she spends time with daily are at her parents farm with a pit bull/ Great Dane cross, a husky mix, four schnauzers, two cats, and a talkative elderly cockatiel.

Tira Christensen, Receptionist 

Tira grew up in Marshall and  graduated from Marshall High School. She lives in Balaton with her husband Peter and their 4 fur babies Maverick, Zeus, Odin, and Zendaya. Tira joined our team at the end of August 2019 as a receptionist. In her free time she enjoy spending time with her fur babies. She also enjoys spending time with family when she can.

Emily Errico, Receptionist

Emily grew up in Vancouver, Washington but came out to the Midwest to attend Southwest Minnesota State University. She currently lives in Milroy with her dog, Chaucer, and cat, Mama Noodles. Emily joined Evans Family Pet Care in April of 2021. In her free time, she likes to read and write.
